Mandatory Insurance Coverage for OFWs
The Philippine Overseas Employment Agency or POEA has released recently a memorandum stating that mandatory insurance coverage for OFWs shall now include and cover Balik-Manggagawa and Direct-Hires.
Pag nag change ka ng company/employer, kailangan mo kumuha ng OEC. May bagong memo ang POEA na required lahat ng OFW na magkaroon ng INSURANCE with Repatriation Service.
The good thing is, If you are International coded IMG member, you already have this as part of your benefit.
Repatriation Service
Repatriation is the process of transporting a deceased person to its own country. IMG company will set the arrangement.
